More information about visiting Ipswich is available at the Ipswich Visitor Center located in the Hall-Haskell House, an officially designated Essex National Heritage Area Visitor Center, offering literature on Ipswich and the surrounding towns. The Hall-Haskell House is within shouting distance of the IHS historic houses and offers free parking; it's easy to just walk over.

Visit ipswichma.com an information tourism and commerce website sponsored by the Ipswich Business Association is also available to learn more about the town, and the Town of Ipswich hosts an official government website. If you would like to know more about our historic structures but cannot be physically present in Ipswich, you may wish to peruse a virtual Walking Tour of Ipswich.

Guided tours around the region are provided by Olde Ipswich Tours. New again this summer: A bus service called the Ipswich-Essex Explorer transports visitors to key sites in Ipswich and nearby Essex, leaving from the Ipswich Train Depot.
